ABSTRACK CORRELATION OF MOTHER KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COMPLEMENTARY FOOD WITH BABY NUTRITION STATUS IN KARYAWANGI VILLAGE DISTRICT PARONGPONG DISTRICT WEST BANDUNG Elma Risa Patoding NIM: 1551079 This study is based on the importance of the mother knowledge about baby nutrition and correlation of mother knowledge about complementary food with baby nutrition in karyawangi district parongpong west bandung. The study design used descriptive quantitative analytic using correlational design with insidental sampling, in mother that have the babies with the age of 6 until 24 months and found in the place when the researcher collect the data. A total of 62 respondents who meet the criteria voluntary participated in this research.The instrument used to measure mother knowledge is a questionnaire consisting of 16 questions that have been validated with multiple choice types and baby nutrition status measured by using a card to healthy baby as well as researchers make measurement of weight and body length in baby during the research. The statistical result show mother knowledge of 66,5% who interpreted knowledge more than enough and baby nutrition status according to body weight/age to 91,94% which is categorized good nutritional status. According to body length/age of 51,61% in normal nutritional category and according body weight/ body length of 87,1% in normal nutritional status category. The correlation test result show not significant relation between of mother knowledge about complementary food with baby nutrition, according to body weight/age r: .088, body lenght/age r: -060 and body weight/body length r: .062.
