ABSTRACT HEALTH COUNSELING EFFECTIVITY OF HEPATITIS B TOWARDS THE KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF FAMEL STUDENT AT RUTH HALL IN ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA Penarika NIM: 1551033 The background of this research is based on the increase of cases of hepatitis B in Indonesia from year to year, so it is importance to do health counseling in increasing and sustaining the knowledge of students, therefore we would like to know the knowledge level of female students at Ruth hall before and after the counseling about hepatitis B in Adventist University of Indonesia. The method that we use is pre-exsperimental with one group pre-post test design with accidental sampling to collect the sample which is the female students that were present during the research was held. The result of analysis shows that before counseling was held the percentage knowledge level of female students is 73,20% and after counseling is 84,53%. The result with Paired t-test shows the value of tcount is 5,44 with the significancy p-value≤0,05. The result indicate that there are difference in the knowledge level of female students at Ruth hal in UNAI before and after the health counseling, where the student’s knowledge is good enough before health counseling increase to be excellent after health counseling.
