ABSTRACT Daily Diet Pattern for Hypertension Patients Before and After Health Education in RW 09 Karyawangi Village, Parongpong District, Regency West Bandung Willy Ferdiana Johnson ID: 1551052 Research conducted in RW 09 Karyawangi Village, Parongpong Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency, found that there were still many respondents returning to the hospital due to recurrence of the same disease, lack of knowledge and lack of awareness of the importance of maintaining health, especially maintaining a dietary pattern to control blood pressure. remain stable is the heart's desire of researchers to know and share health education with the community so that there is a better life change from the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of hypertensive patients about dietary patterns daily before and after being given health education in RW 09 Karyawangi Village, Parongpong District, West Bandung regency. The method used in this study was pre-experimental, the sampling used was purposive sampling with one group pre-test post-test. The data obtained in this study by filling out questionnaires by 30 respondents, and the results of the analysis will be done using SPSS. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the knowledge of hypertensive patients between before and after health education about daily diet patterns with a p-value of 0,000 (<0.005). The conclusion of this study is that health education about daily diet patterns significantly increases the knowledge of people with hypertension. From these results the researchers suggested that health workers be linked so as often as possible to conduct health education in order to increase public health status.
