ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVINESS OF DYSMENORRHEA GYMNASTIC IN DECREASING DYSMENORRHEA OF STUDENTS IN ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA Karina JunitaYoadani Lay NIM: 1351065 Dismenore is a problem that occurs more frequent in woman of productive age. This research is based on the experience of the writer herself that always feel the pain during period. Right treatment is needed to overcome dysmenorrhea, because the pain during period can bother daily activities. An action that can decrease tge scale of dymenorrhea id dysmenorrhea gymnastic. This action can help decreasing the dysmenorrhea because ehen the body moves, endorphin hormone is produced by the body and becomes natural reliever. This research is done to find out the effectiveness of dymenorrhea gymastic in decreasing dysmenorrhea of students in Adventist University Of Indonesia. Desain used in this research are pre-test and post-test nonequvalent control group. There are 30 people as the subject in this research. Dymenorrhea scale in 30 people as the subject is measured before and after doing dysmenorrhea gymnastic and fastwalking exercise using numerical rating scale (NRS). The data gathered before and after doing the gymnastic is counted using mean formula and then t-paired test. The result of the statistics test shows that the average before doing the gymnastic is 5,3 and the average of the pain scale after doing the gymnastic is 1,56. The result of this research also shows that p=0,000<α=0,05 which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Another finding also shows that p=0,000> α=0.05 which means there is a significant difference of the pain scale before ang after doing dymenorrhea gymnastic.
