ABSTRACT NURSING CARE ON Mr A. WITH CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM DISORDER: HYPERTENSION IN WEST WING FLOOR IV ADVENT HOSPITAL BANDUNG ELISABET NIM 1552044 This Scientific writing is based on the prevalence of hypertension that is higher and it is the causes of cardiovascular disease such as stroke and heart attack. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to experience doing nursing care to Mr.A with hypertension disease using the approach of bio-psycho-social and spiritual. The method that used to making this scientific paper is by interviewing, observation, documentation, literature study, and studying internet. In theory there is nine diagnoses: cardiac output, acute illness, fluid overload, intolerance, ineffectiveness of coping, risk of brain tissue perfusion ineffectiveness, risk of injury, knowledge deficit and anxiety. In actual care to Mr.A only four diagnoses were found, pain, activity intolerance and two additional diagnosis that did not exist in the theory there is hyperthermia and sleep disorder. After the authors performed treatment for three days in patients with hypertension, the problems resolved from the four diagnoses were sleep disorder and hyperthermia. When conducting nursing care to hypertensive patients, things that support is patients and families are willing to work with nurses and authors. Suggestions that the author can provide for nurses to always care about patients from all aspects of both psycho-social-spiritual and for patients and families should always maintain a healthy lifestyle and adherence to apply the treatment that has been given.
