The purpose of this scientific paper can apply nursing care to Child. S with Hydrocephalus, using a holistic care approach. The method used is descriptive method by way of data collection through observation, interview, documentation, bibliography, and study of electronic media. After doing nursing care on Child. S with Hydrocephalus, composed five nursing diagnoses, namely: comfortable discomfort associated with skin pressure on the shunt, parents anxiety related to the condition of the child undergoing surgery, high risk of infection associated with bacterial infections through shunt, the risk of damage to skin integrity associated with damage the ability to move the head secondary to abnormal head size, growth and developmental delays associated with impaired physical growth. Growing children affected Hydrocephalus is very disturbed, and most often the treatment for patients Hydrocephalus is to install a shunt, although it has been handled through the shunt, children still experience other risks of blockage, position change, infection and others.
