ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA Tn. J DENGAN GANGGUAN SISTEM IMUNITAS: HIV/AIDS DI RUMAH SAKIT ADVENT BANDUNG

ABSTRACT NURSING CARE TO MR. J WITH AN IMPAIRED IMMUNE SYSTEM: HIV/AIDS IN ADVENTIST HOSPITAL BANDUNG JEFRY BENU NIM: 1352011 The writing of this paper was backgrounded by the mount of HIV / AIDS sufferers according to the data of West Java Health Agency in June 2015 with HIV positive number is 19,043 people, while for AIDS positive cases is about 5,920 people. HIV is a type of viral disease that attacks the immune system. HIV virus will enter into the white blood cells and damage it, so that white blood cells that functioning as a defense against infection will decrease. the goal of this paper is to get a real experience in providing HIV / AIDS nursing care at Adventist Hospital Bandung. The method that used in this writing is descriptive method, and the techniques are using the interviews, observation, and physical examination. The problem that discovered in this case are diarrhea: this is related to intestinal pathogenic germs and HIV infection, pain, thermoregulation ineffectiveness, intolerance activity, the nutrient imbalance that less than body requirements, infection risk, electrolyte imbalance risk. The conclusion of this paper is to developing a trust relationship between the patient and the family, that the nursing process goes well during the assessment to Mr. J. All the theoretical symptoms appear during the assessment and intervene, implementation and evaluation. To achieve the maximum health services, requires cooperation between nurses and other medical teams. The suggestion that the authors give through this paper is the importance of improving nursing care through health education, trusting relationships of science based on theories, and sensitive attitudes to the needs of patients.
