ABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR WOUND WITH AN ENDOCRINE SYSTEM: DISORDER DIABETIC ULCERIN THE 4TH FLOOR TREATMENT ROOM OF ADVENT BANDUNG HOSPITAL Arranged by : Liani Risye Lumantouw NIM: 1652009 This Scientific Writing is motivated by the data found that more and more people have switched from a lifestyle that relies on technology which in turn has an impact on people's lifestyle changes, resulting in obesity and increasing the risk of suffering from degenerative diseases such as Diabetes Melitus. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) most people with diabetes mellitus occur in developing countries including Indonesia. Diabetic wounds are a complication of diabetes mellitus caused by tissue damage to necrosis by embolism of large arteries in the body so that the blood supply stops. Wound care is the most important thing for prevention of foot ulcers. The purpose of this scientific paper can apply nursing care to D.D with Type 2 DM using a psycho-social and spiritual approach. The method used is descriptive method by collecting data through observation, interview, documentation, literature, and study of electronic media. After carrying out nursing care for Ny.D with diabetes mellitus three nursing diagnoses were prepared, namely: Impaired skin integrity, Nutritional imbalance, Fatigue. At the assessment stage there is a left foot ulcer. After the author performed treatment for three days, from 3 diagnoses, 2 diagnoses were resolved, 1 diagnosis was partially resolved. The diagnosis that is resolved is nutritional imbalance and fatigue. The diagnosis that is partially resolved is damage to skin integrity. The author hopes that this paper can be an input in providing nursing care to patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus so as to increase knowledge of the disease.
