ABSTRACT NURSING CARE ON An. N WITH DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER (DHF) IN FULFILLING FLUID BALANCE IN PEDIATRIC ROOM AT ADVENTIS HOSPITAL BANDUNG Yuni Chintya Putri Kadja NIM: 1552017 Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus that is transmitted to humans through the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito and Aedes Albocpictus mosquito. The incidence of dengue fever is still quite high and widespread throughout the world, not least in Indonesia. Data obtained from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2016 that an estimated 500,000 people with severe dengue fever needed hospitalization every year, most of them children, and 2.5% died. The purpose of this paper is to be able to apply nursing care to An. N with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) in meeting fluid balance. The method used is a case study method by collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, literature, and electronic media. The diagnosis that arises from the results of data collection is that patients experience impaired fluid volume fulfillment, a high risk of bleeding, lack of nutrition from needs, and anxiety disorders. Signs and symptoms that appear are nausea, vomiting, headache, dry skin and a decrease in platelets 83,000. At the planning and implementation stage, the focus of the intervention is to maintain fluid balance by maintaining fluid intake and calculating fluid balance values for 24 hours. At the evaluation stage, the problem is resolved by reason of reduced nausea, warm akral, no dehydration. The author gives advice to the community in order to be able to provide care to children with DHF with a focus on fulfilling fluids. Keywords: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, Fluid Balance.
