ABSTRACT Nursing Care at Mr. A with a respiratory system disorder Lung Tuberculosis in the Application of Effective Cough ExercisesIn the Nursing Room of X Hospital Doni Tera Tipnoni NIM: 1652040 The background of writing this Scientific Writing is that more than 90% of cases of pulmonary tuberculosis and death are from developing countries, one of them is Indonesia. Indonesia is a country with a high incidence of tuberculosis. The incidence of tuberculosis in Indonesia is increasing year by year. West Java Province ranks first in Indonesia with the highest number of pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers followed by East Java and Central Java Provinces. Cases of pulmonary tubulesosis in the three provinces amounted to 38% of the total new cases in Indonesia. The purpose in writing this scientific paper is to determine the effectiveness in giving effective cough training to sputum release in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. In this case study using descriptive data collection methods. At the stage of assessment, signs and symptoms are found coughing, tightness, reduced appetite, nursing diagnoses that arise are ineffective in cleaning the airway, nutritional imbalance is less than the body's needs and thermoregulation disorders: hyperthermia. At the planning and implementation stage, the focus of the intervention provided is effective cough training to help reduce patient complaints, namely coughing continuously so that patients feel tired quickly. With an effective cough, pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers do not have to spend a lot of energy removing secretions. At the evaluation stage the patient is able to do effective coughing. The author also provides advice for the public to treat and practice effective cough exercises in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Keywords: Tuberculosis Cough, Effective Cough.
