ABSTRACT NURSING CARE OF TYPE II DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS IN NUTRITION FULFILLMENT IN BANDUNG TYPE PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN BANDUNG By: Yosua Tampang Tammu 1652039 Background: Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which blood sugar levels exceed normal limits. High blood sugar levels are caused by the body not using the normal hormone insulin. The insulin hormone itself is a hormone that helps sugar (glucose) enter the body's cells to be converted into energy. WHO explained that in the world in 2015, 415 adults with diabetes had a 4-fold increase from 108 million in 1980. And in 2040 there was still an estimated growth of 642 million. Objective: to find out nursing care in patients with type II diabetes mellitus covering the study, intervention, implementation, and nursing evaluation. Method: using nursing care for patients with type II diabetes mellitus. Results: after nursing care is obtained, the patient's nutritional needs can be fulfilled, patient fatigue has not been fulfilled, patient's sleep needs can be fulfilled, patient's knowledge increases about the illness. Conclusion: collaboration between the author, the health team and the patient or family is very necessary for the success of nursing care for patients.
