ABSTRACT EFFECT OF ENVIRONMENTAL WORK AND COMPENSATION TO EMPLOYEES 'SATISFACTION IN PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY & TRADING COMPANY, Tbk. Arranged by: Anggiat Sagala NIM: 1431004 This research uses descriptive method and research design using causal explanatory. Work environment with a mean value of 4.00 with good interpretation. compensation with a mean value of 3.23 with sufficient interpretation. Job satisfaction of employees with average value (mean) 3.85 with good interpretation. Partial test between work environment to job satisfaction got result of coefficient of correlation = 0,140 mean there is very low correlation between work environment with employee job satisfaction. T test results, t-count 0.745 <2.048 ttable means there is no significant influence between the work environment on job satisfaction. Determination test result = 0.019 means that the work environment affects employee job satisfaction. Regression test results Y = 3.338 + 0.114 means that the work environment has a positive effect on employee satisfaction. Compensation test on employee job satisfaction is the result of correlation coefficient = 0.749 means there is a strong correlation between compensation to employee job satisfaction. Result of t test, t-count 5,973> 2,048 t-table mean there is influence between compensation to employee job satisfaction. the result of determination = 0.560 means that the compensation effect on employee job satisfaction. Regression test results Y = 2.250 + 0.365 means that compensation has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction. Testing simultaneously between work environment and compensation to employee job satisfaction that is result of test of F 18.266 with value of sig 0.000 <0.05 H0 rejected Ha accepted meaning there is influence simultaneously between work environment and compensation to job satisfaction of employee. multiple regression test result Y = 1.811 + 0.099X1 + 0.363X2 means work environment and compensation simultaneously have a positive effect on employee job satisfaction.
