i PENGARUH ZAT PENGATUR TUMBUH (ZPT) PADA MEDIA MURASHIGE DAN SKOOG PADA KULTUR JARINGAN TANAMAN CABAI MERAH (Capsicum annum L.)

ABSTRACT Red Chili (Capsicum annum L.) is a vegetable which contain vitamin A and vitamin C, used as ingredients for food and for medicinal purposes. This plant is rich in vitamins and minerals such as protein 1 gr, fat 0,3 gr, carbohydrate 7,3 gr, vitamin A 470 SI, vitamin B1 0,05 mg, vitamin C 18 mg, niacin, capsaicin, pectin, water (Saptana et al, 2010). This research was conducted to know the effect of hormones on subculture tip of plant to the heights of planlet red chili (Capsicum annm L.) with tissue culture in vitro by using four variation of hormones. The result of this reseach show that the ANAVA statistic of the height of planlet is significant p =0.002 smaller than α = 0,05, in which GAA+NAA hormone gave the best result with the average height of 4,3200.
