IMPLEMENTASI METODE MASTERY LEARNING DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA SMA
XMLABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF MASTERY LEARNING METHOD AND COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL OF TWO STAY TWO STRAY TO IMPROVE THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION ABILITY RISKA TEHNIKA TAMPUBOLON NIM : 1422018 This research is motivated by the student’s mathematical communication ability which is still low, it is considered necessary to be improved because communication ability is one of the standards of mathematical ability which must be mastered by the students. This research is a comparative design to find whether the significance of the group of students who obtain cooperative learning of Two Stay Two Stray with Mastery Learning method is better than the students who obtain cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray without Mastery Learning method. The samples of this study are the students of grade X SMA 8 Pasundan academic year 2017/2018. The selected samples were the students of class X Mipa-2 who were taught cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray and the students of class X Mipa-3 who were taught cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray with Mastery Learning method. The instrument used in this research is a description to measure student’s mathematical communication ability. The enhancement communication skills of students who were taught cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray with Mastery Learning included in the high qualification while the students who received the cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray included in the intermediate qualification. So it can be concluded that the improvement of mathematical communication ability of students who get cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray with Mastery Learning method is better than students who received cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray without Mastery Learning. Student responses to Two Stay Two Stray are categorized as "likes" and student responses to Mastery Learning are categorized as "very like".
