IMPLEMENTASI MISSOURI MATHEMATICS PROJECT (MMP) DAN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (EL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA SMA
XMLABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MISSOURI MATHEMATICS PROJECT (MMP) AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (EL) TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY OF MATHEMATICAL REASONING OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Aldwin Urian NIM: 1422015 Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) and Experiential Learning (EL) were alternative methods that can enhance the student’s mathematical reasoning ability. Investigation of both methods was done in this research. Samples that used in this research were students from XI IIS 1 and students from XI IIS 2 on SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung. To collect data for analysis, this research used test instrument in form of essay with topic derivative, and non-test instrument in form of student’s response form. The results show that the student’s mathematical reasoning ability before they achieve the methods was on low category. There was an enhancement after they achieve the methods. The enhancement of students who achieve MMP was on medium category, while the enhancement of students who achieve EL was on low category. There were a significance different on enhancement between the students who achieve MMP and the students who achieve EL. Students like Missouri Mathematics Project and Experiential Learning method.
