ABSTRACT IMPROVING THE ABILITY OF MATHEMATIC CONNECTIONS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TYPE LEARNING TOGETHER (LT) AND TYPE INSIDE-OUTSIDE CIRCLE (IOC) Endang Sugiarti Sitinjak 1422004 This study aims to determine the increase in the ability of mathematical connections of high school students. This comparative design study was conducted using two cooperative learning models and those are Cooperative Learning Together (LT) and Inside-Outside Circle (IOC). Population used in this research was all 10th grade high school students in Bandung City. While the sample used in this research was two class of 10th grade at SMA Pasundan 8, Bandung.The instrument used was the test of students mathematical connection ability in the form of description test and questionnaire. The results of this study were (1) Enhancement of mathematical connection ability in students who obtained learning by cooperative model Learning Together (LT) and students who gained learning by using cooperative learning model Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) included in high category. (2) There was no significant difference in students mathematical connection ability between students who received learning with cooperative learning model type Learning Together (LT) and Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) cooperative learning model. (3) Students were happy to use cooperative learning model type Learning Together (LT) and Inside-Outside Circle (IOC).
