PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING DAN AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION (AIR) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS SISWA SMP

ABSTRACT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MIND MAPPING AND AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION (AIR) LEARNING MODEL TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY OF MATHEMATICAL CONNECTIONS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT’S Bertuah Senangmo Matanari NIM: 1522001 This research aims to determine the improvement of the mathematical connection skills of middle school students. This comparative design research conducted using two learning models, namely the Mind Mapping learning model and the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model. This research involved two classes, they are 21 students from class VIII-C and 24 students from class VIII-E SMPN 5 Lembang. The instrument used in this research is a description test on the subject of the circle and student response questionnaire. The results of this research indicate that the average initial ability of students outside the context and in the mathematical context in the two groups of students is included in the low category. The average of achievement of students in and outside the mathematical context of students who get the Mind Mapping learning model is included in the medium category. The average of achievement of students in and outside the mathematical context of students who obtain the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model is included in the low category. The average of enhancement in mathematical connection skills of students who obtained the Mind Mapping learning model was 55.7%. The average of enhancement in mathematical connection ability of students who obtain the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model is 39.3%. Enhancement of mathematical connection skills in both groups of students included in the medium category. Students give responses that are "really like" of the Mind Mapping learning model and provide a "normal" response to the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model.
