THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING IN TEACHING WRITING AT SMP NEGERI 1 PARONGPONG

ABSTRACT This research used Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) in teaching writing as the method. The participants involved in this study were 22 students of grade VIII H of SMPN 1 Parongpong, Bandung. One Group Pre Test Post Test Design was used in this research.The data were collected through four instruments such as observation, students’ writing tests, questionnaire, and interview. The data were analyzed using the triangulation method. At the end of the study, researcher found the data from observation, questionnaire, students writting test, and interview showed that the students agreed that the implementation of TBLT in teaching writing could help them to improve their writing quality.
