PENGARUH OLAHRAGA ERGOMETER INTENSITAS 20% VO2Maks SEBELUM ASUPAN GLUKOSA PADA PROFIL PERUBAHAN GLUKOSA DARAH POSTPRANDIAL

Abnormal blood glrcose levels can lead to hypoglycemia and hypergll,cemia. To prevent lryperglycemia induced insulin insens ivity, exercise is one walt that can be used Need to be irnestigated whether the exercise intensity of 20% yO** performed before glucose intake can affect posrprandial blood glucose profile changes. This experimenlal study involved i0 adult men os research subjects with overage age 20,3+1,5 years old, weight 59,5+9,1 kg, height 165,1+6,2g cm, systolic blood pressure 128,5+12,1 mmHg, and diastolic blood pressu.e 90,0+9,9 mmHg. Be treated ergometer exercise inrensity 2094 VO2.* for l0 minutes and then were given 75 grams of glucose intake. profile chang* in blood glucose at minute 30, 60,90, 120 afier glucose intake recorded. Area Under Cume (AUC) of blood glucose values were calcalated using the tapezoidar rule. Data wirh the results showing the average and standard deviation Area [Jnder curve in control group glucose in minutes 30, 60, 90, and 120 are 3736,5+637, lZS7,0+g54, 4484,5+1002, and 3818,0*716. Treatment group in minute 30,60, g0, and t20 are 3687,0+583, 4552,5+99, 4263,0*895, and 3801,5+657. Anagsis ofthe data by t-test was used to see the significance of the dtfference by ccmparing the overage glrcose control group and the treatment group. The results showed no signifcant diferences in the changes in blood glucose between the control group and the treatmerr! goup experunental ghrcose (16796,0+2gjj,1 ys 16i04'0+2826,3) with p>0,05. Thus concruded that the exercise intensity of 2Mo VO2^* performed before glucose intake did not affect changes in the overall postprandial blood glrcose.
