MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW IV DAN NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER

ABSTRACT Charda Eben Haezer, 2018. Improving The Students’understanding On Mathematics Concept By Implementing Cooperative Learning Model Jigsaw IV And Numbered Heads Together at Junior High School. This study uses a comparative causal method that aims to see the differences in the ability to understand the concept of mathematics from two groups of students.The sample of this research is the students of class VII E SMPN 10 Cimahi who will use cooperative learning model Jigsaw IV and students of class VII H SMPN 10 Cimahi who will use cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together. The total sample size is 58 students. The ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students before obtaining cooperative learning model Jigsaw IV and model of learning type Numbered Heads Together is still relatively low but after being given increased treatment. Increased ability to comprehend the concept of mathematics students who get cooperative learning model type Jigsaw IV and type NHT is in the category of being. The enhancement of the students' understanding of mathematical concepts that obtained the Jigsaw IV learning model is no different than the students who acquired the Numbered Heads Together type. Student responses to cooperative learning model type Jigsaw IV give a normal response, whereas student response to Numbered Heads Together give response that they liked that method.
